Every Word was Once an Animal- T is for tiger

This publication is part of a bigger research on how graphic design can contribute to Animal Studies, it aims to question the multiple identities human assigned to the animal. It take tiger as case study to experiment on format and how words and images work together to create space for the reader to create different narratives.

Every Word Was Once An Animal
“Every word was once an Animal” is taken from the opening line of Ben Marcus‘s The Age of Wire and String 5, which is a work of experimental fiction in the 1990s that abandons conventions of plot and dialogue, new definitions and explanations. The project also aims to create an experimental space through graphic design regarding the issue of animals rights.
Through folding, the publication can be read in three ways. Allowing the reader to receive different narratives and develop their own understanding of the content.
