Kiaan - Illustrated Cook Book
PROPOSAL : For my final project I illustrated and designed a set of 3 cookbooks ( snacks, mains, sweets) comprising of recipes from each state of India. Each book has 15 recipes.
During my research for a previous assignment I found that there weren’t any illustrated cookbooks from India, a place that is known for its various cuisines. I specifically wanted to make an illustrated cookbook as opposed to the usual cookbooks with photograph since it is reminiscent of my grandmother’s and mother’s recipe book where the recipes are accompanied with a small sketch and an illustrated cookbook gives a more personal touch.
