Using a partially complete drawing, I was to recreate a SolidWorks assembly and drawings for a welder arm assembly’s components.
Through this project, I learned to create assemblies, subassemblies, exploded views, 2D drawings, and basic motion studies through the SolidWorks software. The primary challenge of creating the welder arm was designing the values for components with missing dimensions. It was a balance of choosing simple numbers versus practical design sizing based on standard components.
