OPERUS - Toronto based metal band
Band logo redesign
I was hired by Toronto based symphonic metal band "Operus" to redesign their logo.
My goal with the design was to create a logo that really captured their style of music, symphonic, classical with metal fusion. I wanted the design to have flourishes and vines to represent the melodic classical side, and sharp and eroded textures for the more aggressive metal side of the music. Unfortunately my designs we're not chosen and instead they wen't with a specific sketch version they had in mind. What can you do, sometimes that's the way she goes lol. But I like my designs so I'm posting them anyways. Cheers! :)
