Status indicators illuminate through the surface on the top of the product, only present and visible to the user when a specific status is active. New and complex manufacturing methods were used to create a glass-like front display with icons and an LED display that illuminate through the surface. The front lens is a prominent design feature that seamlessly wraps around the design on 3 sides and was inspired by the premium curved glass on smart phones and similar high end products.
Modems integrate on both sides of the product for a seamless integration.
When the modems are not attached, there are side covers that have a similar design language that snap on to cover the USB ports on either side. The curved detailing on both sides of the product are designed to channel heat out of the unit and allow for airflow to cool the unit down.
