Dark Days & Happy Places
In my community, as an individual with mental health issues, I have found myself naturally gravitating towards friends who also have mental health issues. In this series of images, I asked my friends what their darkest day looked and felt like and then what their happy place looked like. I photographed and manipulated each image to fit what they had envisioned. In these four sets of images, in order from top to bottom, Borderline Personality Disorder, Depression, Body Dysmorphia, and Social Anxiety Disorder are represented.
