A new upstart Women's Flat Track Roller Derby Team Approached me to create a logo for their team. Their name.....Gnarlie's Angels. How could I resist? Taking inspiration from the original Show and the feel of modern Derby, the direction was pretty obvious. We also live in a mountain town approx 3,356 ft above sea level and mountains are in every direction you look so that also was an important factor. Once the logo was done they needed jerseys with their name and numbers on the back And I saw the opportunity to carry on the the theme of the font from the logo.
