The Concept
Hipsterious is a large format magazine that features the modern Hipster subculture. The name comes from the conjunction of the word "Hipster" and "hilarious". The magazine comes across as a parody of the new generation of millennials, thanks to the cheeky tone used and the playful visual style .
Style
Whereas the collaged pictures and the exaggerated colour saturation highlight the broken and lost subculture, the bold and large typography as well as the language used, are overly loud aimed at speaking up my disappointment towards the young generation who tends to follow fashion trends, without understanding it and prefer to conform to the mass instead of seeking for their own unique style.
