Warm, rich materials and natural light abound in this remodeled master bath due in part to a new skylight and an existing window that provided light through the etched glass pocket door.

We added a floor-to-ceiling tiled "Wet Room," Shower and Soak Tub.
In order to provide a windowsill at the soaking tub, the vanity countertop material was added to a new padded-out wall, creating a ledge on two walls. Also noteworthy, the shower was designed to house shampoo bottles. A strong horizontal line tied the two rooms together.
We loved the contrast that the dark-stained rift and quartered wide plank oak floors, the teak vanity and the milled-finish cedar plank had against the soft neutrals of the porcelain tile and white walls.
Although the original design plans called for no shower door, the depth of the shower wasn't deep enough to guarantee a dry floor. To remedy this, we made an additional (and beautiful) installation.
