I participated in a SCAD collaboration with Draper James. Draper James is a southern lifestyle brand founded by Reese Witherspoon. Our task was to develop fashion concepts for a “mommy and me” capsule collection of matching styles for mothers and kids of all ages and genders. This was a ten-week long collaboration which consisted of twenty students from five different majors, (Fibers, Fashion Design, Fashion Marketing and Management, Graphic Design, and Accessory Design). Together with another fabric designer, I developed a total of 32 prints that covered the May, June, and July collections. In the end, one of our prints was chosen to go into production. All the designs were developed in a collaborative process. We worked together offering suggestions for changes for the repeat, flow and color. The concepts were based in our research of the ideal customer base, competitive brands and the Draper James aesthetic. Shown are a select handful of prints from the May, June, and July collections that I had significant 

responsibility in developing.
