Grit Film Festival
Grit is a 3-day film festival that pays tribute to the anti-heroes of film noir, featuring films from 5 of film noir's most famous actors. The target audience is film enthusiasts who have an appreciation for art, culture and history. The name grit describes film noir's protagonists, their courage and strength of character as well as their hard-boiled, pessimistic outlook. This is reinforced by the grainy texture in the word mark and the moody double exposure portraits. The depth shown in the word mark further conveys the complexity of film noir’s protagonists.
