re:cover @ Cooler Lumpur Festival, Kuala Lumpur
Album cover art defined the music of artistes. Today, it’s slowly losing its significance to young listeners. Which is why we think it’s important to bring up the need for great album art again. re:cover was first introduced during The Cooler Lumpur Festival in 2016. With re:cover, we get designers to interpret classic albums through their own unique identities. It aims to connect youths with music of the pre-internet era via the cover art of the artistes or different music genres. Through re:cover, we bridge the gap between the old and the young through music education.
