In this 10 week capstone class, we were instructed to create a four-piece minimum collection that was inspired by a theme. I chose Typography because I am a designer with a passion for both fashion and graphics. I wanted to create a bridge between the two emphases, since many others focused on one or the other. Each garment was designed, sewn, and created by me. 

 

This was a wonderful opportunity because it allowed me to experience hosting and designing for a fashion show. My collection receieved great feedback and was featured in two other shows, not associated with the school. 

Programs used:
-Illustrator CS5
-InDesign CS5

Other duties performed:
-Research of typefaces
-Design, theme, and creation of garments

-Styling, makeup, hair for models

-Cutting letters on fabric with laser cutter
