Cheep cheep!  This little yellow chick makes a super Easter decoration or gift.  Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the chick is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

A pair of 3.75mm single pointed knitting needles (US 5).

Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/280m skein in each colour will be more than sufficient.

Tapestry needle, toy filling, and small beads for eyes.

One size only - 8cm tall.

For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
