Metro Sans es una fuente tipográfica sin patines con rasgos humanistas. Esta tipografía busca mejorar el sistema tipográfico actual del metro de la Ciudad de México por un estilo moderno, con mayor legibilidad y cuyo uso se extienda más allá del display. La característica principal se encuentra en los remates de las letras los cuales fueron basados en la envolvente de los símbolos usados para las estaciones.

About Metro Sans

Metro Sans is a typeface with humanist traits. The purpose of this font is to improve the current typographic system used by the subway of Mexico City for a modern style, with better readability that goes beyond display use. The main characteristic can be found in the letter terminals which are based on the symbol form of the subway station logos.
