An advertisement for the flower competition for the North Carolina State Fair. Created for the State Fair's 150th year celebration. A more cartoon simplistic approach was taken, with vibrant colors and dark outlines. All shapes were made in illustrator. The cardinal at the top of the flag pole is North Carolina's state bird, and the different flowers were chosen at random and colored with gradients to add a hint of realism. The Dogwood flower, the first one on the bottom row, is North Carolina's state flower. Custom font was used for the flag, and a custom brush was used to create the rainbow flare around the image.
