Concept
'The Art of Nocturne' simply define as the artistic work produced on evening or midnight. The idea of 'Nocturne' often associated with emotion of romantic. In our case, we emphasise the concepts of designer life where we had to spend sleepless night to work on projects and meet deadlines. ‘The Art of Nocturne’ were named because it’s our tongue-in-cheek way of saying we are nocturnal creatures. In fact, we are the busiest when the night comes, designing and producing all sorts of creative materials. For the exhibition, we literally worked from dusk to dawn.
The symbol of 'The Art of Nocturne' composed of crescent moon and a wolf.
Crescent Moon - symbolise the imperfection of students work before graduation.
Wolf - symbolise the aestheticism of what a Graphic Designer should be, as well as a symbol of Nocturnality.
