Weaving/Fashion Collaboration for
"Qamkunapah" collection by Jose Andres Criales Unzueta
This project was done in collaboration with Bolivian fashion designer Jose Andres Criales Unzueta for look 3 of his senior collection "Qamkunapah". I wove 8 yards of hopsack, twill, and plain weave structures in 15 different sections that focus and explore on the different textures that can be made with only natural materials (cotton, wool, rayon). The different sections were cut out in rectangles and then patch worked together based on the pattern of the garment by Jose Criales. The neck pieces was is a separate removable pieces detached from the sweater.
