Fashion and textile design
Inspired from the Victorian Era, Steampunk and Hippies, a reversible corset was designed and made.  The thought behind was to portray the joyful and the wicked of an individual.  A thorough research on the history of Victorian corsets was conducted in order to understand the making of it.  Finding many different ways of how such corsets were tailored, a style had to be chosen, and a softer, more comfortable corset style was chosen.

The corset is made of eight panels on each side, with featherweight sewn on boning to keep it ridged.  A tie and dye method was used to dye white linen into the patterned red material, while a textured black leather was used for the other side.
Satin ribbon, lycra, and eyelets were used to decorate the red side of the corset, while a sequined ribbon, chiffon and beads over the eyelets were used to decorate the black side. An antique pocket watch was attached to the leather as an accessory and to remind the culture of the Victorians.
