Veronica
This piece in particular was made for and inspired by my mother, Veronica. She's always been a nature lover and since I was born she has made sure to transmit that love and passion to me. She is all about raw natural elements, earthy tones and a rustic feel which is why I used different materials such as up-cycled car leather, up-cycled cutout burlap fabric, natural alpaca wool, natural wool roving and cotton. 'Veronica' is 3 yards long of a single Rosepath Twill pattern that was handwoven in an 8 harness floor loom. It explores and focuses on the rawness of the materials on their own and the textures that each of these have with their own unique properties.
