For this project we had to create a headline and sub-headline for our illustration and the illustration had to be a parody/exaggeration of the celebrity of our choice. I chose to do a drawing of Bill Cosby and highlight how he has strong opinions on education. If you have ever seen or heard any of his speeches at colleges and high schools he has a lot to say about today's generation and education.
I also accounted for his older age by giving him a walker and a cloudy left eye (feel a bit mean adding that, but it's supposed to be an exaggeration. Poor Cosby!
Then, of course I had to add in a crazy colorful sweater like he wore on the Cosby Show! Below is the original black and white version and then a color version. I used pen and ink and then added colored pencil later.
By the way- Just want to restate this was for an assignment- I actually really like BIll Cosby and of course the Cosby show! : )
