The brief was to take an everyday object and create a piece of work from it that is a representation of the chosen object and which holds information about it. I chose a Swiss army knife because for many people it is an item they carry with them every day and use everyday. I chose to create a small Jacobs ladder bound book 1 1/2 times the size of the most popular Swiss army knife on the market today. within is the history of victorinox the brand who makes the famous Swiss army knives.
