DR JEKYLL and MR HYDE
Brief was to design a limited edition book cover for Penguin book Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
Final Book cover
- Smoke from potion forming DNA then rapping round Hyde to form a heart showing the charcters relationship. The mirror image of the J and L shows the duality of his condition. The type layout itself represents the plot of the book playing off the "hide and seek" theme of the book, Hyde is hiding on the cover underneath Jekyll and behind his reputation as he does in the book.
