I created a five spread book about graphic designer, Lester Beall.  I focused on his belief that there was no distinction between fine art and applied art and how the integration of photography in his work connected to the human existence of the time. 

I chose Lester Beall because I am constantly inspired by his refined collages, clear messages, and seamless incorporation of personal photography and photographic processes. Creating this book was a practice in following a grid to create cohesion throughout spreads and bookmaking.
