This design was commissioned by a start-up food truck business and the brief was for a bold, colourful decal design that would stand out among other trucks at food festivals and events. The owner’s travels through Mexico and the USA ignited his fascination with the Mexican Day of the Dead and inspired him to start his business. The visual imagery and energy of this day became our main inspiration for the food truck design. The elements of the design were drawn by hand and then redrawn as Vector artwork which was applied to the food truck as a digitally printed adhesive vinyl decal.
