Shan Shui is an 3D mapping performance, which mixes geometric elements and projection technology to show natural scenery landscape. I got an inspiration from ancient Chinese landscape paintings and I extracted the images into geometric shapes. By making 3D models and projecting the images on them, the performance simulates changes of landscape and motions of  mainland .

Media: Modul8 , MadMapper, foam boards, a 200 Lm projector.

Firstly, I extracted geometrics from landscape paintings, and then I summarized interesting single shapes and selected two near-by surfaces of each geometric shapes to compose a new form. Finally, I got a triangular pyramid, and use it to develop my final model for performance.
This is model for performance in the program.
This is the final model used and the video material which were projected on it.
This is the venue for my performance.(floor 1, room 16, at the design building in Central Academy of Fine Arts)
On that day, a lot of my friends and schoolmates came over to see the show.  Before SHAN SHUI perfromance, I was very nervous.
