Now We Are Six
Poem by A.A.Mile
When I was One,
I had just begun.
When I was Two,
I was nearly new.
When I was Three
I was hardly me.
When I was Four,
I was not much more.
When I was Five,
I was just alive.
But now I am Six,
I'm as clever as clever,
So I think I'll be six now for ever and ever.
Concept
This video is the project for practicing visualization from a poem called “Now We Are Six”, written by Alan Alexander Milne.  For my interpretation, I think this talks about the different life stages. For instance, "one" depicts a life stage of just born; Two is an age stage of childhood; Three is for an adolescence; Four is about early adulthood; Five means people are in the middle age. Six presents the stage of later adulthood and the old stage. However, it missed an important stage of death. So, I added it into the beginning of the video as the secret scene.

Technique
Aiming to use colors to represent the different stages of the life. I applied acrylic paints on the canvas with the pouring technique to create the visual. Also, I used two ways to present the words. Firstly, I utilized a lot of gesso to write the words on the canvas before I pour the acrylic so that the words would show up after they covered by the colors. Secondly, I applied the dura-lar film to show the words and lightly moved it to create the motion.
