Between 1997 and 2000, I worked in Greenville assisting with historic preservation, urban design, and economic development. I played a key role in the revitalization of Falls Park. We removal a concrete bridge which blocked views, started Tai Chi and other programs in the park, and constructed a new, suspended pedestrian bridge. In 2009, the American Planning Association awarded Greenville's Main Street the honor of the "Best Places in America" award.
