Inherent Forces Circle Study

This project was to learn the inherent forces of design.  Our objective was to make a circle that exemplified these forces in an attractive manor.  Ordering systems and negative space were also concepts learned and implemented.
Black and white was the original version.  The object was to produce maximum contrast in designing the piece before color was added.
Each circle was given 3 colors that gave off a certain scheme.  I went for a dull/mute on this piece, as all of the colors appear shaded.
For this rendition of the circle, I chose a dark navy as the background and brighter blues to be placed on top.  This was to portray medium contrast and be a bit brighter than the muted version.
The final version of the circle was to portray a high contrast design.  I chose a bright lime green as the background to be accentuated with the dark wine and burgundy colors that lay on top.  This piece i feel is the most vibrant and shows the most attention to the system present in the design.
