Frederique is a satiric webcomic series about the adventures of three guys in their mid-twenties. They go to school, get rejected by hot chicks and regardless of being always short of money and luck: they enjoy life with full blown optimism.

The characters
Arthur, Stuart and Frederique are very different personalities. Arthur studies philosophy and likes to sleep - in fact, most of the time he is dreaming, with the eyes open. Stuart thinks that instead of boring studies he is better off playing the guitar and work on his career as a singer, while Frederique lives the life of an average nature sciences chap, diving into physics and geek stuff. Who is speaking in the sound of reason? As it turns out, that comes with the situation.
Sometimes it looks like the guys are not interested in anything else but getting laid - therefore, women (and boobs!) are at least as important as main characters to this webcomics. You will see them a lot.
Also some extraterrestrial beings: coming outer space, aliens appear every now and then and try to invade the Earth. No worries, the guys will stop them every time - not that they recognize any of that.
Drawing comics on the iPad
Because of a small accident, I had to use my iPad to draw the first episode. It was just a few hours before the deadline I've set to myself, when I realised that I don't have ink and paper - and so the few fans following the story should be able to start the week with a Monday comic strip.
I’ve spent about 8 hours on the first episode: drawing, redrawing, checking on the computer, redrawing and finalising the drawings on the iPad, correcting the vectors in Illustrator, coloring, adding shadows and more details, and exporting the whole lot from Photoshop.
