Bent

Apart from its character I wanted Bent to be compact. The way the letter can be tightly arranged is similar to Helvetica. It has got short ascenders and descenders for compact leading.Some curved elements are based on the idea of a bent water hose:-) Bent is perfect for magazine usage or as a corporate typeface. In copy you should not get heavier than Heavy. Extrabold and Ultrabold work best in display. In the standard set the main figures are tabular but with a proportional old style figure set as a feature. Traditional and stylistic ligatures are also part of the feature set.
