14 Hours of Stopover
On my way to go back to Jakarta from Melbourne, my flight had to transit in Brunei Darussalam for 14 hours long. I know for the time given, I could give myself a little nice adventure in this small yet prosperous country. I mean, when else could I visit Brunei anytime soon in the future?
My plane landed in the evening and my hostel owner picked me up at the airport because it was already past 6 pm and buses were no longer available. After taking me to the hostel, she kindly drove me around so we could get some food and I got to see a bit of Bandar Sri Begawan.
During that much of time, I managed to capture some of the city's highlight which I thought were even better at night.
It was the best 14 hours of stopover in Brunei.
