Organic TRANSITION

Organic transition is for Hermann Zapf the development of form in letters, where each one communicates a different style and a specific use. At the same time, letters are directly related to the human being by its characteristics calligraphic, creating a harmonious whole that gives them a touch of elegance, dynamism and emotions. Thus, the letter conveys what needs to be expressed.
What the typographer wanted to express was the symbolic aspect and historical contribution of Goethe, one of the fundamental contributors of Romanticism. It was important for him to understand the organic principles of nature as a unit that it changes with time, but it still has the same essence.
