There is a part of us constantly romanticising with an age old concept. The end of days. This explains the popularity of the zombie apocalypse series we produce so vigorously. Much earlier it was the Book of Revelation, or the stories about the Ragnarok,... Either way, we all seem to have a capability to envision how things end and how they start anew.

Admittedly global warming, and in the broader sense, climate change, is a dividing topic but regardless of our political or religious beliefs we can all agree that as a doomsday scenario...
