The Prebil Family Crest

The Prebil Crest
Hello, my name is Ben Prebil. For my family crest I wanted to include many items and ideas that show what my family is about. I decided pretty early on that I wanted to have at least four icons and a banner for my crest, but I didn't quite know what I wanted those icons to be and what I wanted the banner to say. Through research of my family heritage and by looking at family crests already online, I was able to figure out how I was going to make my family crest.

Family Notes:
- Football (Arizona Cardinals)
- Skiing (Purgatory Ski Resort)
- Mexican Food
- Dad's Side Heavily Polish (Dupa= Dumba**)
- Traveling (California, Thailand, Africa, Belize, Mexico, etc.)
- Dogs (3 Dogs Currently)
- Poland Flag (Red On Top And White On Bottom)
- Music (Rock Music)

I feel that my family crest truly takes into account all of the physical things and ideas that makes my family, my family. It includes many activities that my family does together, while also including colors that represent my heritage and the ideas my family supports. These symbols and colors truly represent my family and express what my family is all about.
Explanation of Symbols/Style:

First off, the cross in the middle of the crest represents my families Catholic faith. The football in the top left-hand corner represents my families love for football and the Arizona Cardinals. The pair of skis in the top right-hand corner represent my families love for skiing and our annual ski trip every year up to Purgatory Ski Resort. The plane in the bottom left-hand corner represents my families love for traveling. Finally, the dog paw in the bottom right-hand corner represents my families love for dogs and the fact that we have three dogs currently. Also, the colors of red and white represent the Brophy Broncos, since both my brother and I attend Brophy and the red is placed above the white, which makes the colors of the Polish flag because my family has a very Polish heritage.

The style I choose to use was simplicity because my family is very simple and we just go with what happens, instead of complaining about things that happened in the past.

Thank You! I hope you enjoyed my family crest!
