Steady Paycheck Agency
This is an ongoing university project, therefore not all details will be included to protect this project from plagiarism. I have been forced to be specifically vague at points and only show a small cross section of the project because of this.
This aim of this project is to design an interactive prototype for a fictional company called "Steady Paycheck Agency" which help find graduate computing/web students jobs.
This was a group task for university, mostly focusing on UX and the process used.

The first step was a competitive and comparative analysis where we as a group looked at competing sites Indeed, Monster, Reed and Jobsite. We looked at how these sites used various design principles and their Gestalt principles, exploring how they are used and how they help guide the user on their site. We looked at how the industry as a whole uses design principles and gathered our findings.
Using our findings we started to construct user profiles and journeys to guide our development. We also started to develop multiple hierarchical task analysis (HTAs) and our brand styling to show the user journey in steps.
We developed a logo using the Gestalt principle mostly of closure to develop our logo.
This is the development of the logo, from the basic flat designs on the left to more colourful full designs on the right.
Our final logo, we believe it uses closure to resemble an eye, searching. The two colours we chose as purple and green are shown on both sides of the 'iris' text.
Using the HTAs and the user journeys we developed a basic regional structure to show what will be placed where.
You can see a basic regional structure showing the layout, this details mainly what component will be where without getting too specific, this is so we can evaluate how this meets the needs of our user profiles
After evaluating the regional structure and deciding specifically what data would be shown we filled in the areas with dummy data with no regard to style, as this was ensuring the data shown is valuable to the user, it meets the HTAs and user goals.
Finally after reviewing the medium quality wire-frame we made a full colour high quality wire-frame. The data is fake but it presents a full look at what the sight might look like in full, including the logo and icons, features such as the colour marked pay (Green shows good pay while red is bad pay for the job) are visible on the page.

The full project will not be built but prototypes on Invison so the user can interact with it and follow the user journeys.
