This is the UI design for Jam City's "Kitty City" on IOS & Android.  I was responsible for creating the look/feel of the UI and implementing it in Unity, along with any VFX and animations needed.

This is the HUD at its "fullest" point.  XP & currency info lies along the top.  Quests/Goals live on the left side.  Store and Settings is on the bottom left.  Special offers on the upper right.  Social elements on the bottom right.  Bottom center is reserved for notification toasters.
Tapping on a Quest/Goal will spawn a modal with further information and status of the quest.
Tapping the "Shop" button will activate a tabbed store menu.  User simply drags the item for purchase into the world from the menu.
Chat UI slides on from the right when activated.
Feeding livestock is a simple "drag feed to the bucket" motion.  User spends gems to acquire more buckets (up to six max)
Same drag mechanic works for any other types of creation of goods throughout the world.
Hot Air Balloon Shipping:  Each order has three slots.  Fill each of the slots to advance to the next levels for better prizes.  This has a time limit, and resets every day.
Complete various achievement goals for prizes.
The higher the user's level, the more goods the user is able to create - In this case, corn, potatoes & carrots.
Basic Starter Pack - Accessed via HUD
Gem Shop
Various tiers of gems the user can purchase
This is where the user stores goods made throughout the game.  Capacity has a max, but increases can be purchased.
This is the fishing mini-game, where users can use various tools to catch fish.  The fish are used to feed/level up the "kitizens" living in Kitty City.
These are the items the user can purchase to use in the fishing mini-game.
Use the fish caught in the fishing mini-game to feed the kitizens in Kitty City.  This menu is used to select which kitizen to feed.
Drag fish to a Kitizen to feed him or her.  Each fish has a different point value, which goes towards leveling up the kitizen.
Earn enough points to level the Kitizen up and boost production at their job.
The spin wheel mini-game comes available daily, allowing users to win prizes.
Holiday Events:  this is the landing screen for Kitty City's Christmas event.  Choose from three orders to fill.  These orders earn "battery" power that fuel the "Mouse Hunt" mini-game.
This is the mini-game launch screen, with a brief description on how to play.
Mouse Hunt Mini-Game:  Use the tools on the bottom bar to capture rogue mice to win "Mouse Points".
Mouse Points earned in the Mouse Hunt mini-game are applied to the prize track.
This is the pop-up indicating the user has won the grand prize.
This is an alternate "Valentines Day" skin of the Christmas Event UI.
Facebook login incentive
Social Guilds - User can either join a guild or create one.
Searching for a specific guild
Guild leaders have the ability to manage guild members
Members of the guild are visible via scroll list.
Guilds have a weekly "Bike Race" competition to encourage social play.  Launch screen gives a quick description on how the game is played.
User chooses from three different tasks.  Each task has a different prize level based on difficulty.
Once a task is chosen, the user is able to start fulfilling the task.  In this case, deliver 15 hotdogs.
As points are earned via tasks by guild members, the "cyclist" advances further down the track.  As the cyclist passes prize markers, more prizes are won.  The cyclist represents the user's entire guild.
This screen shows how your guild members are progressing in the event.
This is the pipeline I developed for the creation of the hundreds of icons we needed for Kitty City.
These are some examples of icons created using the process mentioned above.
Various items used in Balloon & Train Shipping
Once a guild is created, the guild leader can apply a badge to the guild.
These are all the crops the user is able to grow in the farms of Kitty City.
These are icons for some of the buildings the user is able to unlock in Kitty City, each with its own kitizen character.  I created these painting over 3d models.
