The base idea was to make a puzzle game that is solved by using mechanics and assets from various iconic games.

The trick was to create a design and workflow that could support swapping easily and seamlessly between 5 characters with various animations:

as i was designing the cartridge page i realized it was right to left and that the UI should be reversed. it was too late to change for the jam but i still did a revision for myself:
