Process
Character expressions were animated in after effects and applied as textures onto the cinema 4D models.
The 3D models were based off of a line of Adventure Time Happy Meal toys. I liked how the cute, simplified designs captured the most recognizable aspects of the characters and how the rigid, geometric forms were perfect for tumbling and bouncing. Using toys also added to the child like quality and appeal.
