Graduate School Project: Typography and Symbolism
This is a graduate design school project where I researched and created my own symbols for a range of seasonal mason jars to be stored in bathrooms. This was an exciting project in that it exposed to me to another aspect of graphic design outside of my comfort zone of what 'I think' graphic design should be. I researched into historical hand written forms and shapes and from there worked with various writing tools like charcoal and calligraphy pens to conceptualise and create my own symbol set.
The final symbol set I created was used to adorn bathroom mason jars inspired by the seasons Summer, Winter, Spring and Fall.
