Extra Credit Assignment for my Fall LAS class "Nasty Women Around the World" with Dr. Stefanie Sevcik. We had to create a work based on our research essay. 

Fairytales often show the beliefs and views of a society and culture. My essay was about how Baba Yaga is the most powerful being in Russian folklore and yet she is cast out of society because the patriarchy could not handle women so powerful. I wrote about the reclaiming and rewriting of Baba Yaga and how societies cannot handle "nasty women".
