Geodesic Dome Table

Geodesic Dome Table
May 2016

The Geodesic Dome Table brings the futuristic aesthetics and structural efficiency of Geodesic architecture into furniture design, inspired by the pioneering work of Buckminster Fuller. The lattice shell dome distributes downward forces from the tabletop equally across its structure, whilst providing a striking visual impact for contemporary interiors.
The dome is created from 30 metres of copper pipe formed into structural components, and assembled with 122 Brass bolts & Dome nuts. The bespoke donut shaped tabletop is produced from a low-iron toughened glass so it is strong and crystal clear.
