Photoshop Battles are quick image modification contests on a subreddit of the same name. The goal is to take the (typically strange or funny) original image and transform it into something bizarre, poignant, funny or really whatever you want. Then, users can vote on which one they like the best and if it's yours then you get...well internet point and sometimes notoriety but that's not the point. 

It is simply fun and rewarding to treat each battle as its own design challenge of creativity and speed.
