Ban Animal Trading (BAT) is a Non-profit company, focusing on local investigations into various forms of animal abuse and neglect.
BAT also deals with educational outreach to help South Africans understand animal rights.
BRIEF: Create characters based on verses written by Craig & Almini Wilson.
The characters I developed were conceptualised and sketched on paper, and then transferred to Adobe Illustrator. These characters needed to depict the story in such a way as to show the brutality of humankind without showing too much violence, as the aim was to educate children (and adults). The characters on each page are depicted in such a way as to draw an emotion from the reader in this 24 page book.
