Observational Line Drawing
The main idea of this project was to show depth and value through different line weights. I chose a composition that had a foreground, middle ground, and background, and used different values and line weights to differentiate them.
The Process:
I started out by exploring different compositions through quick thumbnail sketches. I then moved on to getting the main shapes of objects down on paper, and getting the right proportions. I then added more and more detail until I achieved my final drawing.
