THE AMALGAMATION
The Amalgamation is a candle holder that I had designed by getting inspired from the brand, 'Nicobar'. This was a product of an in-depth study of Nicobar, wherein keeping all the factors in my mind, ranging from problems to key features to target users, I chose to make a candle holder. The essence of simplicity coming up with detailing, was something that I had kept in my design.
MOBILE PHONE STAND
This one is a derivation of basic furniture designing, keeping joinery as the main focus.
I have used finger joint in this accessory which gives it a very simple yet strong foundation.
Along with the phone, I kept in mind the element of earphone and how it is always entangled into itself. Thus, I made sure that in my design, I solved that problem too by introducing a simple protrusion with empty space around it.

INSIDE- OUT
This is a small shelf with an extra stand in which we can hang our earrings. This can be hung anywhere in the room or fixed on a wall. The aim here was to experiment with and use all wood joinery like lap, finger, montise, tenon and cross lap joints and make something out from them.
MORTAR AND PESTLE- REFORMED, REDEFINED
We had to design any kitchen appliance or object so, I chose a very common object which we can find in every Indian house which is mortar and pestle. My intention was  to make something which is very playful in nature and easy to use. The material is not heavy as compared to stone or steel. It is stable and the mortar is detachable which makes it easy to use and wash. It is a prototype made out of wood.
