[Originally Titled: Detrimentation]
Waywardtale is a collaborative homage to Toby Fox's 2015 videogame hit, Undertale. Majority of the lore, setting, and characters rightfully belong to Toby Fox and the team behind Undertale and we do not take credit for anything save for the comic's plot and the main characters of the story. The main three characters belong to myself, Olivia 'Panda' De La Garza, and Alexandra 'Bat' Sandoval.

When taking on Waywardtale, our group had a script and story already planned out and written. The challenge was trying to bring to life in a graphic novel/webcomic form. We originally planned the first 3 chapters to be assigned individually. Olivia took on Chapter 1. I took Chapter 2. Finally, Alex took on Chapter 3.

Dividing the chapters this way proved to be a bit difficult, considering that we all had some visually different styles, and went about pacing pages a much different way too. This was however a project for fun and practice.

We are currently on our fourth chapter and have decided to divide the work accordingly:
I take on the role of Penciller/Sketches
Olivia takes on the role as Inker
and Alex takes on the work for Coloring/Greyscale Shading and Dialogue
So far the work has been a lot easier on all of us.
The project really is just for fun and a good practice to see how each of individually take on the task of bringing a narration to a visual novel. We do, however, have plans to expand a bit more and experiment a lot with these characters and their stories with different formats (as seen above with a prequel storybook).
