Little Aubergine Riding Hood - flat design

I used a tutorial as a baseline then created Little Aubergine in my own style. I feel it still needs something, so this is the first version of the finished image. I'm completely ok with the face and head and shadows, but I feel the legs and shoes need work, the basket could be less tilted, and trees need something (just not sure what). She's the focal point, so any changes I make cannot take away from her.
