The Art Deco movement was closely related with cinema since the best surviving examples of this style are movie theatres build in the 1920s and 1930s. This period coincided with the conversion of silent films to sound, and movie companies built enormous theatres in major cities to capture the huge audience that came to see films. It communicates a sense of glamour and luxury that are characteristics of the identity I wanted my channel to have. 

My colour scheme is restricted by three colours inspired in the channel's name and in a film award event: the dark blue represents the night sky; the red is related to red carpets in these events and the yellow conveys the idea of stars, gold and luxury.
