Accessibility and Usability -  Interaction Design
A web based project designed to take into consideration the standards and guidelines of HCI.

The project was to investigate into principles of accessibility and usability. Using the research found, 3 prototypes were designed which were analysed by 20 people to get feedback on attractiveness and effectiveness.

The prototype that was successful was then developed and expanded into an airline company site, which allowed users to buy airline tickets.

Multiple features were added for allowing users with disabilities to use external software as well application on the site to allow further insight into making their viewing easier.

Below shows the 3 prototypes as well as screenshots of the site developed. The prototypes were designed in Adobe Photoshop and then the site was implemented and designed using Adobe Flash.
       Prototype 1
       Prototype 2
       Prototype 3.

This prototype was built to show simplicity to gain understanding on what users require.
Prototype 1 one was chosen because the colours were easy for the user to see and important information was clear.

No adverts were added as this would clutter the site and become hard to read for users who are visually impaired.

A text size feature was added (seen on the top right corner) to allow the user to change size of the text on the site.

Accessibility menu added (seen on bottom menu) to allow users to find out additional information about customer with
disabilities and additional information on using the site and what external software can be used in conjunction with the
       site.
When no seats are available the panel turn read and no interaction can occur. This allows users to see visually that
no seats are available on that particular flight.
Page was kept simple so the user can indentify what they need to fill out.

Typically when sites are cluttered with adverts and information can make a site look less appealing and non
       trustworthy.
